How to Adjust Your Subscription License
Follow these steps to update your subscription to match the current number of units or the number of users in your organization.
- Log in to your Remote.It account at the official dashboard.
- Navigate to the subscription or billing settings section by clicking on your Avatar in the upper left corner > Account > Subscription or https://app.remote.it/#/account/plans
- Select the option to change or adjust your subscription level.
- Set the subscription to the appropriate number of units that corresponds with your current device fleet.
- Confirm the update to apply changes to your account.
- Remote.It will credit your account for the prorated remaining time on your previous license, applying this as a balance toward future payments.
- Future subscription fees will deduct from this credited balance before charging your saved credit card.
Important Notes
- Credits for prorated time ensure you only pay for what you use without losing value from previous subscriptions.
- The monthly invoice will reflect the adjusted subscription amount starting from your next billing cycle.
- You can review and manage your subscription details any time via your account settings.
- All paid plans come with 5 devices/endpoints included. From there you can add as many licenses as necessary to cover the number of devices that you have. For each Professional license, you receive 1 user license and license for 3 additional devices/endpoint licenses. Business licenses come with 1 user license and 10 additional device/endpoint licenses. Business and Fleet with higher device limits are also a potential solution.
- You can add remote.it to devices you resell. Adding Remote.It to your devices is easy, and we know how to work with you on embedding Remote.It in your devices that are resold to your customers. Contact us at sales@remote.it for customized pricing.
- Any endpoints (devices) that are deployed for commercial or business use require a paid plan. Choose between Professional, Business, Fleet, and Enterprise plans based on your specific feature requirements.
- If you have an existing organization, all users must be on the Business or Fleet plan. You can't sign-up for a Business plan and invite or add Professional or Personal plan users to your organization. You can also not mix Business and Fleet plans in the same organization. Before a user can be licensed in the organization and have access, the owner of the organization must ensure that they have the appropriate number of licenses.
