Making an SSH connection to the AWS Guest VPC

If you are using Windows, download and install the PuTTY terminal application.

 

In the remoteit Desktop application Devices view, click on the "SSH" button as shown:

Next, click on "Create Connection":

Once you see the blue button which has changed to "Stop Connection", click on the >_  icon to launch the connection in PuTTY (Windows) or terminal (macOS/Linux).

Windows:

You'll see a security warning the first time you make this connection.  Click on "Yes".

You've now made an SSH connection to the AWS Guest VPC SSH instance.

macOS

The Mac terminal will open and launch the SSH connection.  You will see the security warning the first time.  Answer "yes" to continue.
