Running Minecraft on the AWS Guest VPC

Info

You will need a Minecraft account in order to play Minecraft.  Make sure you have downloaded the Minecraft client.  This demo supports only the Java version of Minecraft.

 

All operating systems

In the remoteit Desktop application Devices view, click on the "Minecraft" button as shown:

Next, click on "Create Connection":

Once you see the blue button which has changed to "Stop Connection", click on the clipboard icon to copy the connection string to the clipboard).

Now launch the Minecraft Launcher application.

Click on "Play".

Click on "Multiplayer".

Click on "Add Server".

Give the server a suitable name, then paste the connection string into the "Server Address" field.

Finally, click on "Done".

After a few seconds, the indicator should turn green to show that you have connected to the AWS Guest VPC Minecraft Server.

Double click on the button to launch the game.  Feel free to explore the world in Adventure mode.  Look out for Zombies!
