ssh: connect to host X port Y: Connection timed out

This error occurs when the host name, e.g. proxy19.remot3.it, cannot be contacted.  The usual causes:

1. mistake in URL
2. server is offline but you got a connection assigned to it anyway

Please try the "-v" option with the SSH command as shown:

>ssh -v -l pi proxy19.remot3.it -p 30323

debug1: Connecting to proxy19.remot3.it [52.52.28.51] port 30323.
